Michelmersh Brick Holdings

The Michelmersh Brick Holdings Group brings together the clay traditions of craft brick, paving and tile-making under one organisation.

From our five works, with over 300 employees, we are the leading UK manufacturer and largest producer of handmade bricks and clay paviors. These are complemented by our machine-made bricks and handmade roof tiles.

Over the years our products have been used in some of the most prestigious and demanding jobs. Most notably the recent award winning restoration of St Pancras Station where the highest standards were required.

We also have a tradition of investment in our business so we combine modern technology with the skills built up over generations.

We continually develop our product range and have recently added the business of Hathern Terra Cotta. For over 130 years, we have manufactured handmade terra cotta and faience.

In addition, New Acres operates a land restoration site on part of the Blockleys existing 100 acre site in the voids left by clay excavation.

The business holds other Waste Licenses and land for residential development.
