Supporting Charities Close to Home
Michelmersh has donated over £120,000 in financial support to local and industry-related charities since 2016. These contributions are a meaningful reflection of the Company’s values and close connection to the construction community.
Among the many causes supported are:
- Band of Builders is a registered charity that carries out practical projects to help UK construction industry members battling illness or injury. From home adaptations to mobility solutions, their work transforms lives and brings the industry together in solidarity and compassion.
- Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, supported through Enthuse, is the only charity dedicated to the emotional, physical and financial well-being of construction workers and their families. Offering a 24/7 helpline, training, and mental health support, Lighthouse plays a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of those who build our world.

Pledge 100: Investing in the Next Generation
At the heart of Michelmersh’s educational commitment is its ‘Pledge 100’ initiative, through which brick donations are provided to educational establishments across the UK. This initiative empowers students and apprentices with the resources they need for hands-on learning in construction, design, and heritage skills.
Since its inception, Pledge 100 has arranged the delivery of bricks worth over £1 million. These donations have helped hundreds of students gain practical skills and industry knowledge, supporting the future of UK construction and craftsmanship.

In addition to financial and product donations, Michelmersh has been a proactive supporter of educational resources, CPD sessions, and competitions such as WorldSkills UK, helping bridge the gap between education and employment.
