This milestone demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to accurate and quality-derived product information, which promotes transparency and trust for our customers across the UK construction sector.
The Code for Construction Product Information is an industry-wide initiative designed to elevate standards in how manufacturers manage and present product data and marketing information. The Code aims to foster clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous product information, helping architects, specifiers, contractors and end users make informed decisions based on reliable data.
CCPI assessment involves a rigorous independent process that includes evaluation of organisational leadership and culture, product information management processes and systems, and review of evidence against the Code’s wider requirements. On successful completion of this process, manufacturers receive a uniquely numbered CCPI mark demonstrating that their assessed product information conforms to the Code’s standards.
Unlike some marks that focus only on product performance or regulatory compliance, the CCPI Mark remains highly focused on the quality of product information and how it is created, maintained and communicated, remaining agile to the ongoing changes within the industry. It promotes confidence that product documentation and marketing practices are aligned with best-practice principles and supports continuous improvement over time.
Achieving CCPI assessment is an important milestone for Michelmersh and reflects the robust processes we have in place to ensure our product information is clear, accurate and trustworthy. The Code sets a high benchmark for the construction industry, and we’re proud to demonstrate our commitment to transparency and responsible communication.”
