Project overview
Wycliffe Park is a novel, luxury retirement village that offers independent living for its residents with on-site care, support and activities.
Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside near High Wycombe, Wycliffe is a fresh retirement destination, with a blend of accommodations including residential apartments, assisted living suites, and dementia care rooms. These dwellings are nestled amidst several buildings surrounded by gardens and landscaping. The central club building hosts a swimming pool, medical and work rooms, library, lounges, and a full-service restaurant with an in-house commercial kitchen.
Architects, PRP have created tailored accommodations for Wycliffe Parks residents which enable them to ‘age in place’, with standards that exceed traditional Lifetime Homes and Wheelchair space targets. Wycliffe Park comprises 156 one- or two-bedroom apartments within cluster blocks – all encircling a central clubhouse.
Michelmersh Charnwood Light Victorian Red Clay Brick adorns the entirety of the project. The red hues and artisanal allure of the brick perfectly complement Wycliffe’s exteriors, providing a distinctive backdrop to the site’s verdant, open environment.
