Prefabrication benefits
FabSpeed offers a variety of precast or prefabricated brick-faced cladding products and applications. Each gives a building the appearance of being traditionally built – however, the use of factory methods offers advantages in terms of design, quality and speed.
In the right application offsite construction comprises many benefits. These often include; less on-site labour intensity, reduced installation costs of segregated products or services, less time on-site, better safety and working conditions, reduced urban congestion and less on-site waste improving environmental benefits from improved consistency and greater precision than on-site conditions can allow.
The CMS40 system benefits coupled with the sustainability advantages of clay bricks which are highly regarded in the construction industry for their durability, strength, fire resistance, thermal performance, and acoustic insulation make an excellent match. Clay brick slips offer design flexibility, with a range of colours and textures. Clay bricks are valued for their longevity, their local availability and recyclability, contributing to sustainable building practices. The CMS40 support system also utilises 70% recycled aluminium as it’s primary component and as such is fully recycable. This system promotes circular principles, due to the CMS40 system being capable of being dismantled and reused replacing only the mortar element, making this an ideal product for secondry life.
