The Brick Development Association (BDA) which represents the UK Brick Industry brought together leading experts in clay Innovation for the day, to offer practical and authoritative advice on the technical and aesthetical advances of brickwork and clay surfaces. The Innovation Day was organised to explore the possibilities of ceramic facades through many different mediums and techniques. Talking to a variety of speakers from artists, architects to manufacturers, contractors and engineers, looking at both modest properties and our most distinguished buildings to explore the technological advances in industry machinery, tactile craftsmanship that has evolved with the use of clay products and surfaces that we may see exploited by the Brick Industry in the future.
