We would like to congratulate our HR Director Carl Jones, for 25 years of service to Michelmersh Brick Holdings. Carl’s hard work and dedication have contributed to the success and growth of the company.
When Carl started his career at Freshfield Lane in 1998, he began in the sales admin office, where he demonstrated his talents and work ethic. His responsibilities included the reporting side of accounts, as well as managing the yard at Freshfield Lane Brickworks. Carl’s colleagues fondly nicknamed him “Clipboard Carl” because of his habit of carrying a clipboard and an apple while doing his rounds. He always made a great impression, even if the apple didn’t always get eaten!
As Michelmersh Brick Holdings continued to grow, so did Carl’s role within the company. When Freshfield Lane was purchased by Michelmersh, Carl gained management accounts responsibility, and he also undertook training for HR. Over time, Carl’s role evolved, and he eventually became the HR Director for the company. This position required him to undertake training equivalent to a master’s degree, which he completed with great dedication and success.
Throughout his 25 years at Michelmersh, Carl has demonstrated his loyalty, hard work, and dedication to the company. His contributions have helped the company grow and succeed, and he is a valued member of the team. Congratulations to Carl on his 25 years of service to Michelmersh Brick Holdings PLC, we look forward to many more years of working with him.
